Choose “Target size”, select 10 MB (or 50 MB if you have Nitro Basic) and press Compress. Very long videos may need a lower resolution to look good at that size.
Some detail is always traded for size. Quality mode at “High” is hard to tell apart from the original on a phone screen; target-size mode lowers quality only as much as the size requires.
Phone recordings often shrink by 50–80% at High quality, and more when downscaled. Files that are already heavily compressed shrink less.

No. The tool runs inside your browser tab with WebAssembly. Your file is read from your device, processed in memory and offered back as a download. EveryGen never receives a copy of it.
Files up to 500 MB are accepted. Above about 200 MB the tool warns you first, because browser memory is limited and long, high-resolution videos take longer to process. A desktop browser handles large files better than a phone.
