Which Model Fits Your Shot?
Seedance 2.5 from ByteDance and Kling 4.0 both generate up to 30 seconds in a single request, which makes them the two long-scene models in EveryGen.
The differences are in how you control them. Seedance 2.5 accepts every input mode in the editor, while Kling 4.0 focuses on text and rich multi-reference direction.

Key Differences
Input Modes
Seedance 2.5 supports text, image, first and last frame, multi-reference and video-to-video, so one model covers drafting, continuation and edits. Kling 4.0 offers text and multi-reference, where images, video and audio guide the scene.
Resolution and Shape
Both reach 1080p. Seedance 2.5 adds a 480p draft tier and wider aspect choices, including 21:9 and 4:3. Kling 4.0 supports 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1.
Sound
Seedance 2.5 generates native audio with the picture. For Kling 4.0, audio references can guide timing, and Studio can add narration and music afterwards.
Cost per Second
Both are billed per second. Seedance’s 480p tier makes cheap long drafts possible. See the credit row for current ranges; the editor shows the exact quote.

Seedance 2.0 vs Kling 3.0
Seedance seems to handle action far better, and actually give me pause whether it’s AI or not whereas Kling just seems good but clearly AI
via Reddit (u/drkrelic’s post, opens in a new tab) Seedance vs Kling vs Grok
Grok falls apart at the end. Kling gets the ending the closest to something feeling natural but the model’s anatomy looks exaggerated. Seedance is the most consistent of the three IMO.
via Reddit (u/Any-Tomorrow-7344’s post, opens in a new tab) Seedance 2.0 vs Kling 3.0
It’s a bit like kling creates a movie from the 90s and sedance from recent times. There is just way more action, more eye candy, faster cuts etc.
via Reddit (u/TehZiiM’s post, opens in a new tab) Seedance 2.0 vs Kling 3.0
Seedance looks more sensational but also more obviously ai
via Reddit (u/braddeicide’s post, opens in a new tab) Seedance 2.0 and Kling 3.0
How far can we push a complex continuous action shot before total AI collapse? Well, went better than I expected. Made with Seedance 2.0 and Kling 3.0 …

via Reddit (u/Wise-Chain2427’s post, opens in a new tab) Seedance 2.0 vs Kling 3.0
I was using Kling heavily but mainly stills as first frame or a 1st/last frame thing. The consistency is pretty solid.
via Reddit (u/chronochroma_ai’s post, opens in a new tab) Seedance 2.0 vs Kling 3.0
Kling seems much more linear with the action, the camera in Seedance moves around more.
via Reddit (u/GreenWoodDragon’s post, opens in a new tab) Kling AI
…Kling ai is a very performant ai video generator, it understands prompt, it gives the best camera motion performance, maybe it's not very good in image generation, but in others fields it performs very well.
