Which Model Fits Your Shot?

Seedance 2.5 and MiniMax H3 are the two most flexible video models in EveryGen. Each supports text, image, first and last frame, multi-reference and video-to-video inputs.

With the input modes equal, start with the required shot length, output resolution and generation quote.

Key Differences

Length

Seedance 2.5 generates up to 30 seconds in one request. MiniMax H3 runs 4–15 seconds, enough for most single shots and short ads.

Resolution

MiniMax H3 offers a 768P tier and a 2K tier for sharper delivery. Seedance 2.5 offers 480p, 720p and 1080p, which includes a cheap draft tier.

Sound

Seedance 2.5 is listed with audio support. The MiniMax H3 configuration does not explicitly specify native audio; verify the selected workflow rather than treating an absent label as an unsupported feature. Studio can add narration and music afterwards.

References and Pricing

Both accept multiple references. Credits for MiniMax H3 add reference usage to the base clip price; Seedance 2.5 is billed per second, and reference videos count toward the quote. The editor shows the total before you confirm.

Who Should Choose Which

Choose Seedance 2.5 If

  • You need scenes longer than 15 seconds.
  • You want sound generated with the video.
  • You want cheap 480p drafts before a final render.

Choose MiniMax H3 If

  • You need 2K sharpness for delivery.
  • Your shots are 15 seconds or shorter.
  • You plan to add your own voiceover or music anyway.

Limitations to Consider

Seedance 2.5

  • Maximum 1080p.
  • Long 1080p scenes use more credits.

MiniMax H3

  • 15-second maximum per request.
  • Native audio is not specified in the published editor configuration.

The Verdict

Choose Seedance 2.5 for a shot longer than 15 seconds. Consider MiniMax H3 when 2K output and a 4–15 second duration fit the brief. Both expose the same input-mode categories; compare a representative shot before judging the visual result.
