AI Motion Graphics: How to Turn a Short Brief into a Finished Animated Video

AI Motion Graphics: How to Turn a Short Brief into a Finished Animated Video

目录

Most AI video tools ask a model to imagine every frame. AI Motion Graphics works the other way around: Claude Opus 5.5 writes the animation as code, renders it frame by frame, records the narration, composes an original score and mixes the sound. The result is a finished motion graphics video — the kind a small studio would make for an explainer, a product launch or a data story — from a brief of a few sentences.

This guide shows how to use it, who it suits, and when it is the better choice than AI video generation.

What you get

Every project delivers:

  • An MP4 video at 1920×1080 (16:9) or 1080×1920 (9:16), usually 20 to 90 seconds long.
  • Narration in English or Chinese, with matching subtitles burned into the frame and a separate .srt file.
  • An original score and sound effects, composed for the film and mixed to a consistent loudness.
  • A poster image you can use as the thumbnail.

Nothing comes from stock footage or a video model. That is what keeps on-screen text, logos and numbers exact.

How to use AI Motion Graphics

1. Pick a style

Open AI Motion Graphics and browse the 39 styles. Each one has a sample film you can play: watercolor, Chinese ink wash, ukiyo-e, risograph, Swiss typography, a dark tech keynote, 16-bit pixel art, a tilt-shift miniature, and more. The style fixes the look, the sound and the pacing; your brief supplies the story.

A quick way to choose:

A concept explained step by stepWhiteboard Explainer, Isometric Infographic
Numbers that should tell the storyData Storytelling
A product or app launchDark Tech Keynote, Glass Product Render, Swiss Motion Graphics
A story for childrenCrayon Picture Book, Paper Pop-up Book
A festival or cultural greetingRed Paper-cut, Paper-cut Lightbox, Chinese Ink Wash
Something playful for socialMicrogame Frenzy, 1930s Rubber Hose Cartoon, 16-bit Pixel RPG

2. Write a short brief

Say what the video is about, who it is for, and how long it should be. Mention the narration language and anything that must appear — a product name, a logo, a figure. If you have a logo, product photos or your own voice recording, attach them.

A brief that works well:

A 30-second explainer for parents of 8-year-olds: why the moon changes shape during the month. One idea at a time — the moon doesn't glow, the sun always lights half of it, and we see a different part as it circles the Earth. Warm female narration in English, light background music, subtitles.

If something important is missing, Claude asks one short round of questions before it starts. Otherwise it goes straight to work.

3. Let Claude animate it

You can follow each step in the project: reading the style guide, recording narration, drawing style frames, writing the score, rendering and a final self-check. A 20-second video typically takes 20 to 30 minutes; longer or more detailed styles take up to an hour. You can close the page and come back — the project keeps working.

4. Review and revise

The finished video appears in the project with its subtitles and poster. To change something, just say it: “make the music softer,” “use our brand blue,” “add a line about pricing at the end.” Claude edits the same project and re-renders, so everything you did not ask to change stays as it was.

Who AI Motion Graphics is for

  • Teachers and explainer channels. Concepts become narrated animations that show one idea at a time, with subtitles for silent viewing.
  • Marketers and startups. Launch films, feature announcements and product explainers that use your real product name, logo and wording — spelled correctly in every frame.
  • Analysts and data journalists. Charts animate from your numbers, so every label and value is right.
  • Storytellers and families. Picture-book stories, bedtime tales and festival greetings in a hand-crafted art style.
  • Designers and agencies. Style frames and finished animatics in 39 art directions, ready to present or to hand to a client.

AI motion graphics vs AI video generation

Both start from a prompt, but they solve different problems.

Choose AI Motion Graphics when accuracy, clarity and a consistent designed look matter more than realism. Choose AI video generation — for example EveryGen Studio — when you want footage that looks filmed.

Tips for better results

  1. One message per video. A 20–30 second film can land one idea well; save a second idea for a second video.
  2. Give the numbers. For data stories, paste the figures you want shown. Claude charts exactly what you give it.
  3. Name the audience. “For 8-year-olds” and “for CFOs” lead to very different pacing and wording.
  4. Keep brand assets simple. A clean logo file and one or two brand colors go further than a long brand guide.

Pricing and limits

Each turn starts with a small credit fee, then model usage is charged as the video is made; the project shows what has been charged. If your balance runs out, the work pauses and you can continue after topping up. Narration is available in English and Chinese. The look is always stylized animation — for realistic footage, use EveryGen's AI video tools.
